TAKING CARE OF YOUR FARMING MACHINERY

TAKING CARE OF YOUR FARMING MACHINERY

We are hearing quite a few complaints from customers that the machine is not starting after few days or weeks of usage. Two main reasons for this are as below:

  1. Most of the engines have oil sensors. When the oil is low it will not start. Some smaller engines doesn’t have these sensors and they can be damaged if the customer didn’t take enough care/ checks. As we all know, Lubrication is very important for the engine. The machines came for repairs has very little oil in the engine. Secondly the oil in the engines which came for repairs was dark, meaning the customer is not checking the quality and qty of oil in engine, instead using it until it stops.
  2. The Air filters for the engines are clogged with dust, husk and other leaf flakes. The machine won’t start in this case as well. While transporting the machines because of road bumps and shakes, the oil is entering the air filter which is causing a permanent damage to the air filter resulting to replacement of the airfilter. If the customer can clean the air filter after every usage there will not be any problem. But they are not cleaning and leaving it until it stop operating.
